The Importance of Market Data

Buyers and Sellers need to consider available data when arriving at their selling or buying strategies.  The data in this section of my website comes from different sources and articles including my own personal observations.

Sellers want to understand the market so that they can choose the best pricing strategy to ensure that their home sells for the highest price in the shortest time frame. The pricing strategy is dependent on market conditions. An experienced agent will interpret the market data and help to formulate the best price and strategy.

Buyers want to be aware of market trends and how those trends might affect what they offer on a given piece of property. Buyers want to see the comps (comparable sales data). An experienced agent can provide the comps and help interpret the data as well as give advice on what strategy to use in the bidding process.
